the Chinese are crazy about their ducks be it Peking or Cantonese style; I’m crazy about both. this cool duck-joint features the Cantonese style of preparing; suuuper-tasty and as you can see they prepare everything from scratch serving with perfectly steamed, oily rice and local pickles on the side with duck-jus for saucers!! feeling blessed to experience such an authentic eatery on my latest Hong-Kong excursion. can’t wait to go back!! triple-yum!!

I love burgers, and the best place to eat a burger is, of course, at a real burger joint, where they specialize in this fine field. Munchies does so in great manner with their five-burger menu: Cheese, BBQ, Spicy, Munchie and Veggie. The only burger that might need further introduction is Munchie, a burger with blue cheese dressing and caramelized onions. A great combination. If you’re not a fan of blue cheese, but think the caramelized onions sound like a good idea, you can add them to one of the other burgers. With more than twenty different types, it shouldn’t be a problem to find a beer of your liking.
Both burgers and buns are cooked to perfection, perfectly sized and the taste is, of course, amazing as well. The portion of fries is generous, but I think they missed a bit of salt, which was nowhere to be found on the table. But, hey, this is a minor detail, and I could have asked for it, but just didn’t bother, because every other thing was so good. With the generous portions and reasonable prices, Munchies is the perfect place to go ballin’ on a budget.

This mini chain of tapas restaurants in Oslo serves tasty and unpretentious food with a large menu consisting of seafood, meat and vegetable dishes and a decent variety of Spanish wines to go with the grub. The food is easy to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere, though the service sometimes can be a bit too relaxed - meaning they were a bit lazy during my last visit.
Anyways, Delicatessen is always a cool place to gather a larger group of friends to start the evening.
My last visit was at the restaurant at Aker Brygge, and I have to say my favorite is the one located at Grünerløkka:

A friend of mine told me I had to check out a brasserie he had been eating lunch at for two days in a row. He thought the food was fantastic, but that it might have been his hangover talking. I called him when I finished my meal and told him it was the food, not the hangover.
This fine brasserie, located in Gothenburg, Sweden serves tasty and rustique classics such as the fish’n’chips and the entrecôte with béarnaise sauce and fries, as seen in the pictures above. The service is exquisite and the open kitchen solution is one of the coolest I have ever seen in a restaurant. With paper tablecloths and crayons on the tables, the atmosphere is both cozy and relaxed. I wanted to go the next day, but unfortunately they were closed on Sundays, so it will have to wait until my next trip to this city. Avenyn 8,

I stumbled upon this fabulous burger joint on a weekend trip to Gothenburg, Sweden, and it was a great find. The interior is really cool and the burgers tasty. The flavours and visuals where pure instead of trendy and experimental crap, which I enjoyed a lot. We didn’t have the stomach to try the milkshakes, but this is a sure thing the next time around.

Almost everyday I am given the extreme pleasure of dining in one of the finest Japanese restaurants here in Guangzhou, Canton; I by Inagiku -situated in the cutting edge hotel that is W Guangzhou.
The dish featured here is their miXed tempura platter boasting tempura bites such as gamberoni, crayfish squid, aubergine, bell peppers & courgette flowers all fried to perfection with a thin and crazily crispy texture of the tempura dough. Unbelievably tasty & super delicious. Go ahead; Envy Me ;-)

This cool Nepalese curry joint in Shimokitazawa is the perfect place for a cheap, but extremely tasty lunch after days of only eating Japanese food. The portions are really generous and the service is great.

What a remarkable day!! I am currently in China, and since it’s Sunday and time to rest & re-charge it was difficult to refuse when my friend Brahms invited me to spend the day with him browsing the Chinese second-hand markets in search for what is his big passion in life; vintage vinyl records.
On our way there we stumbled across such gems as the most scrumptious Chinese street-pastries & green tea markets. It felt re-vitalizing to spend a day outside of the 5* hotels, really taking in the sights, sounds & aromas of this amazing city that is Guangzhou, Canton.

With more than 20 shops set up in different parts of the globe, Papabubble offers an awesome experience. The authentic hand made candy both looks and taste fantastic and the fact that you can watch the candy being made from scratch, before buying some is really cool!

Tokyo got plenty of burger joints. This one is kind of pricey, but the burger was tasty and the service very good. A good idea after hours of shopping in the streets of Harajuku.
